All of the rooms at Thorpe House are individually decorated and come furnished with single bed and mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, chair, over-bed reading light, sink, PIN code lockable safe where service users can set the PIN code and digital TV socket.

There are two double rooms at Thorpe House, twelve single rooms and five bedsit rooms. Five of the eleven single rooms are en suite. The bedsit rooms include an en suite area with a shower cubicle and they have a kitchenette area which includes a sink, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and crockery. These bedsit rooms include a sitting area with sofa and digital TV socket. They also have a small fold-up table and chair to eat meals at.

There are three communal sitting areas in Thorpe House. These are made up of two lounges (one with radio and one with TV) and a large conservatory with a TV and door leading to the sensory garden, which includes a fully shaded area for residents who wish to sit outdoors in comfort.

There is a dining room set out with three tables of varying size to encourage meal times being a social occasion.

Thorpe House has an IT area which features a computer, printer, photocopier and webcam.

Kitchen to support rehabilitation and recovery of service users, improving their living skills with assessment and input from the in-house occupational therapy team at Thorpe House.

There are two private visiting/meeting rooms.

There is a private area with service user phone for personal calls etc.

An outdoor, undercover well-lit smoking area.

All rooms are maintained to a high standard of decoration and cleanliness – and personalising rooms is encouraged.
